This flat design posed the unique challenge of avoiding a false ceiling while still ensuring effective lighting throughout the space.To address this, we introduced strategic boxing to conceal fire-fighting pipes, transforming these structural necessities into functional open shelving. To maintain a clean, uncluttered ceiling, corner profile lights and other discreet lighting solutions were recommended, ensuring a well-lit environment while preserving the design’s minimal aesthetic.Existing furniture pieces were thoughtfully refurbished to align with the updated material palette, creating a cohesive look without excess. The kitchen is designed to meet essential needs, with the backsplash (dado) serving as a bold, eye-catching element that adds character and visual interest.A multi-functional workspace was integrated to support daily work needs and also adapt easily into a guest bedroom when required—an efficient use of space without compromising comfort.The master bedroom exudes warmth and intimacy, featuring a custom curved bed and a seamlessly integrated dressing unit that continues the soft, flowing design language of the home.Every detail works together to create a calming and functional retreat.
